DHAKA, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has urged all concerned to remove all the banners, festoons, posters, advertisements, signboards and election campaign leaflets, which have been installed illegally in the DSCC area on their own initiative.

DNCC has issued a public notice in this regard today.

Banners, festoons, posters and advertisements on the privately owned property, signboards and election campaign leaflets have been set up recently at different areas in the city corporation without seeking permission from the city corporation authorities.  “Such activities are clearly violation of the Graffiti Writing and Poster Sticking Control Act, 2012”, said the DSCC’s public notice.

“So, the DSCC is requesting all concerned organizations/persons or agencies to remove these illegal banners, festoons, posters, advertisements, signboards and electoral campaign leaflets on their own initiative aiming to build a clean and beautiful city,” the notice added.
