NDP organises doa mahfil seeking Khaleda Zia’s early recovery

DHAKA, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) - National Democratic Party (NDP) today organised a doa mahfil and Quran Khwani after Asr prayers seeking early recovery and good health of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The doa mahfil was held at NDP central office, where the leaders and activists including party Chairman Khandakar Golam Murtaja and Secretary General Md Manjur Hossain Isha were present.

NDP Presidium Member Advocate Farid Uddin, Vice Chairmen Ashrafuzzaman, Golam Mostafa Raju, Mahamudul Hasan Moin, Motaleb Hossain and Md Asmat Ali and other leaders of the party's central committee were present at the event.

Special prayers were offered for the good health, longevity and speedy recovery of the national leader.

Speakers at the mahfil said BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is a symbol of democracy, human rights and the hopes and aspirations of the people of the country. Her health is very important for the democratic progress of the country, they added. 

They sought prayers from the countrymen for her speedy recovery.
