DMP bans drone flights around Evercare Hospital

DHAKA, Dec 24, 2025 (BSS) – The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on the operation of all types of drones in and around Evercare Hospital in the capital to maintain public order.

According to a public notification issued today, the restriction has been imposed under Section 28 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance (Ordinance No. III of 1976) and will remain in force until further notice.

The notification, signed by DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali, stated that flying unauthorized drones in the restricted area will invite appropriate legal action.

The DMP has urged all concerned individuals and organizations to cooperate with the authorities by complying with the directive.
