BNP plans hospital, health cards for citizens: Bakul

KHULNA, Jan 19, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Central Student Affairs Secretary and party-nominated candidate for Khulna-3 constituency Rakibul Islam Bakul has said an ultra-modern hospital would be built in the area to ensure improved healthcare services at people's doorsteps.

He said health cards would also be introduced for every citizen to ensure access to advanced and quality medical treatment.

Bakul said this while speaking as the chief guest at a civic mourning meeting and doa mahfil at Bakultala No. 1 Road playground in the Mujgunni Residential Area on Sunday.

Metro Police Line High School Unit BNP organised the programme seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. 

Unit President Abdul Motaleb presided over the programme, while Unit General Secretary Sheikh Zahid Hossain conducted it.

Later, Hafiz Maulana Mufti Abu Sayeed conducted a special munajat seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of Begum Khaleda Zia and welfare of the country.

Leaders and activists of BNP at different levels and a large number of local people attended the doa mahfil.
