Law Adviser expresses deep condolence over death of two judges

DHAKA, Jan 19, 2026 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul today expressed profound sorrow over the deaths of AKM Kamal Uddin, Judge of the Sylhet Child Rape Crime Tribunal (District and Sessions Judge) and Muhammad Abdun Noor, Joint Metropolitan Sessions Judge of Chattogram.

In a condolence message, Dr Asif Nazrul prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to their bereaved families.

Judge AKM Kamal Uddin passed away tonight (Jan 18) while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in Dhaka.

Judge Muhammad Abdun Noor died on January 13 at Anwar Khan Modern Hospital in the capital.
