SIRAJGANJ, Jan 8, 2026 (BSS) - National Citizen Party (NCP) South Region
Chief Organizer Hasnat Abdullah today said that the young generation must
come forward to take the lead of the country.

"Old, worn-out politicians do not want the rise of youth. It is time for the
youth to come forward and take the lead of the country to over through the
old, rotten and irrelevant systems," Hasnat Abdullah said.

He said this at the 11-party alliance's election rally titled 'Journey of
Justice' at Shahzadpur Government College ground in support of alliance-
backed candidate SM Saif Mostafiz for Sirajganj-6 constituency.

Hasnat warned that a group of people is attacking women's dignity, security
and religious freedom.

"Those who want to strip our mothers and sisters of hijab and modesty, if
they come to power, they will not only strip women but the entire
Bangladesh," he said.

He cautioned against vote center occupation, saying, "Those preparing to
occupy polling centers will not get that chance. If anyone comes to snatch
voting rights, we will resist with our last drop of blood. People's voting
rights will be ensured this time."

Accusing some media outlets of suppressing truth, he said, "Many journalists
tell us of their helplessness. After August 5, when we protected temples and
mosques, a group occupied media and institutions to run mafia practices. I
urge the media to abandon brokerage and stand with the people."

Shahzadpur Upazila Jamaat Ameer Md. Mizanur Rahman presided over the rally.
with Jamaat Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan attended
as chief guest.

Alliance candidate SM Saif Mostafiz said, Shahzadpur's people will reject
tender manipulators, sand grabbers and corrupts through ballots.

Leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, Khelafat Majlis and other alliance parties also
spoke at the rally.
