DHAKA, Feb13, 2026 (BSS) – Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council (BHBCU) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its alliance for getting a landslide victory in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad polls.

The BHBCU, which works to protect the human rights of religious minorities in Bangladesh and to advocate for the restoration of equal rights for all citizens irrespective of the religious affiliations, issued a statement this evening.

Signed by BHBCU Acting General Secretary Minidra Kumar Nath, the statement expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the interim government, the Election Commission, the Bangladesh Army, law and order authorities and all political parties for holding the elections peacefully.

The same trend would continue in future to build a democratic Bangladesh against all kinds of unrest and chaos, it hoped.
