DHAKA, March 5, 2026 (BSS) – Jatiya Press Club (JPC) president Hasan Hafiz and general secretary Aiyub Bhuiyan have expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Achhia Begum, mother of Didarul Alam, Chief Reporter of the Bangla section of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).

The JPC leaders also prayed for eternal peace of the deceased and conveyed deep sympathy to her bereaved family members.

JPC member M Didarul Alam’s mother passed away due to old age complications on March 3 at her residence in Shahdowlatpur village, Mainamati, at the age of 79.
She survived by host of relatives including four sons, three daughters and grand children to mourn her death.
