According to DMP, individuals and business institutions transporting large amounts of money or valuable gold ornaments can request police escort support to ensure security and prevent theft or robbery.

Interested persons can contact the following phone numbers to avail the service: 01320037845 and 01320037846.

The DMP authorities said the service is particularly important for traders, jewelers and individuals who need to carry large sums of money or valuable items from one place to another in Dhaka.

They also advised citizens to take advantage of this facility and inform the police in advance while transporting valuables to ensure safe and hassle-free movement.
