DHAKA, Mar 24, 2026 (BSS) - Members of the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) will be able to collect fuel under a special supply arrangement announced by Md Nazmul Haque, owner of Ramna Petrol Pump and president of the Bangladesh Petrol Pump Owners Association.

"DRU members will be able to collect fuel starting from 9:00am tomorrow (March 25). They will be able to avail the facility following specific rules and procedures, while detailed guidelines in this regard will be issued soon," Md Nazmul Haque said. 

Haque further said the journalists regularly work in the field to carry out their professional responsibilities, and the initiative has been taken to ensure easier and uninterrupted transportation using their personal vehicles.

"The Bangladesh Petrol Pump Owners Association believes the initiative will help make the professional activities of DRU members more dynamic and assist them in performing their duties efficiently," he added.

DRU members can collect fuel from Ramna Petrol Pump by showing their identification and referring to the announcement made by Nazmul Haque.
