Navy ships to remain open for visitors tomorrow’s Independence Day

DHAKA, March 25, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Navy will open its ships at different places across the country for the visitors to mark the Independence and National Day tomorrow.

According to a release of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate, a total of six ships will be kept open for public. BNDB Gangchil  would be displayed at Dhaka Sadarghat while BNS Atandra at Pagla Naval Unit Naval Berth in Narayanganj, BNS Samuddra Obhijan at Naval Berth in Chattogram, BNS Shaheed Akhter Uddin at BIWTA Rocket Terminal in Khulna, BNS Abu Bakar at Digraj Naval Berth in Mongla and BNS Odamya at Barishal BIWTA Ghat respectively. 

People can visit the ships from 9am to before the sunset (4pm) on the day, added an ISPR press release.
