DHAKA, Apr 13, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque today visited Tangail District Stadium. Agriculture Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid and State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salahuddin Tuku were also present at the time.

State Minister for Sports told the journalists that tomorrow (Tuesday) is the festival of Bengalis Pahela Baishakh. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman would inaugurate the “Farmer Card” distribution program among farmers from this stadium. Through the “Farmer Card”, farmers would get various benefits including fair-priced fertilizers, seeds and agricultural loans.

Responding to a question about clearing illegal structures around the stadium, the state minister said the work of renovating the fields would started across the country. The problems related to the stadium would be identified and solved with the cooperation of everyone.

Commenting about the training conducted by the Department of Youth Development, the State Minister said: “Some problems related to the training of the Department of Youth Development have come to my attention. A meeting will be called with youth development officers of all districts on the April 18. Necessary action will be taken if anyone is found negligent in their duties.”
