DHAKA, May 19, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested 29 people in a special drive conducted in different crime-prone areas under Jatrabari police station area, officials said today.

According to police, the drive was carried out on Monday night targeting individuals involved in various criminal activities.

Among the arrestees, seven were held in regular cases, other seven in old cases, three on arrest warrants and 12 were detained through mobile court drives.

The arrestees were sent to the concerned court today, police added.
