DHAKA, June 05, 2026 (BSS) – A total of 12 suspected criminals involved in various criminal activities were arrested on Thursday during special drives conducted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

“They were involved in various crimes under Jatrabari Police Station area,” said a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media division here today.

It said that police produced them before the court.

The arrested are -Md Shukur Miah (25), Md Rafiqul Islam (40), Tanvir (19), Mahir (20), Md Faizul Islam (23), Sohan (20), Md Hrydoy (25), Md Yakub Ali (21), Md Apon (22), Yahiya (28), Md Siam (20) and Azizur Rahman Mahfuz (26).

The DMP media division official said that these individuals were arrested yesterday (June 4) after conducting special raids in various crime-prone areas.
