DHAKA, June 8, 2026 (BSS) - The Tejgaon Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted special drives in different crime-prone areas over the past 24 hours and arrested 49 individuals involved in various criminal activities.

According to the police, of the arrestees, eight were detained from Tejgaon Police Station area, five from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station area, 18 from Mohammadpur Police Station area, two from Adabar Police Station area, seven from Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station area and nine from Hatirjheel Police Station area.

Police said all the arrestees have been sent to court.
