DHAKA, June 27, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 32 suspected criminals involved in various criminal activities were arrested during special drives conducted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in the city's Jatrabari and Uttara West areas. 

"They were involved in various crimes under Jatrabari and Uttara Police Station areas," said a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media division here today.

It said that Jatrabari Police Station conducted a special operation in various crime-prone areas on yesterday and arrested 16, while Uttara West police arrested 16 from its jurisdiction. 

The DMP press release said that police produced them before the court.

According to DMP sources, these individuals were arrested during special raids in various crime-prone areas yesterday. 

The release further said that the arrested include regular case accused, warrant accused and criminals involved in various crimes.
