51 held during anti-crime drives in Tejgaon

DHAKA, July 8, 2026 (BSS) - The Tejgaon Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 51 people in separate anti-crime operations conducted across several crime-prone areas on Tuesday.

According to a DMP press release, the arrestees include five from Tejgaon Police Station, nine each from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and Hatirjheel Police Station, 16 from Mohammadpur, 11 from Adabor and one from Tejgaon Industrial area.

All the arrestees have been produced before courts for legal proceedings.
