DHAKA, July 11, 2026 (BSS) - The government has postponed the HSC and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board scheduled for July 13, 15 and 16 because of adverse weather and the ongoing flood situation.

The postponed examinations include HSC, Alim, HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce under the General Education Board, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board across all districts of Chattogram Division.

The decision was taken after reviewing reports from deputy commissioners in the division and following a request from the Controller of Examinations of the Chattogram Education Board, according to a press release issued on Saturday.

Examinations under the Madrasa and Technical Education Boards within the Chattogram region will also remain suspended on the three scheduled dates.

However, HSC and equivalent examinations under all other general, madrasa and technical education boards across the country will be held as scheduled.

A revised timetable for the postponed examinations will be announced later, the release said.
