DHAKA, July 12, 2026 (BSS) - Police under Tejgaon division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 66 suspected criminals through various drives in the city.

"The arrested are involved in various crimes under the Tejgaon division," said a media and public relations division of the DMP press release here today.

It said that police teams under Tejgaon division conducted regular operations in various crime-prone areas of the division on Saturday and arrested them.

The release said that Tejgaon police station arrested nine, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar four, Mohammadpur 30, Adabar 12, Tejgaon Industria seven and Hatirjheel four.

It, however, said that the arrested were produced before to the court.
