Moral responsibility to stand by flood-affected people: Monayem Munna

CHATTOGRAM, July 12, 2026 (BSS): Abdul Monayem Munna, the Central President of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, said that it is our ethical obligation to stand beside those affected by the recent floods.
In addition to organizing medical camps in the affected regions, we are distributing food and emergency relief supplies as part of our initiative, he said.

 He mentioned that the district-level leadership is consistently monitoring the conditions in the flood-affected areas and keeping a record of the affected families. 

Munna made these remarks while distributing relief supplies at Ward number- 2 of Baharchhara Union in Banshkhali Upazila of Chattogram on Sunday afternoon.

Abdul Monayem Munna emphasized that, alongside the government, party leaders and activists are collaborating effectively to ease the hardships faced by the flood affected people. 

He assured that necessary support will continue to help the affected families return to their normal lives as soon as possible. 

Munna urged everyone to unite with a spirit of humanity, cooperation, and solidarity in addressing the disaster. 

Jubo Dal Central Committee Vice-President Mahfuzur Rahman Mahfuz, Ahmed Munna, former General Secretary of city Jubo Dal Mohammad Shahed, former Senior Vice-President Iqbal Hossain, and former General Secretary of city Jubo Dal leader Mohammad Shahidul Islam Shahid, among others attended the function.
