19 arrested in Jatrabari, Turag

DHAKA, July 14, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested 19 people in separate special operations in the Jatrabari and Turag areas of the capital over their alleged involvement in various crimes.

According to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Jatrabari Police arrested nine people during raids in crime-prone areas under the police station on Monday. 

Turag Police arrested 10 others in similar operations carried out the same day.

Police said those arrested include suspects wanted in regular and warrant cases, as well as individuals allegedly involved in various criminal activities.

Legal action against the detainees is in process.
