BNP Media Cell Convener Prof Moudud released from hospital

DHAKA, July 14, 2026 (BSS) -  BNP Media Cell Convener Prof. Dr. Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, who was undergoing treatment at the Continental Hospital (formerly United Hospital) in Gulshan here, was released from the hospital today.

“Professor Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel is being discharged from the hospital today and is going home, ” said BNP Media Cell Member Shayrul Kabir Khan here.

Earlier, Prof Pavel fell ill after experiencing severe chest pain at his residence in Bogura on Thursday. He was initially admitted to TMSS hospital there.

On Friday afternoon, he was flown to Dhaka by an air ambulance and admitted to Continental Hospital.
