Army continues humanitarian assistance in flood-hit areas of Chattogram, Rangamati

DHAKA, July 15, 2026 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Army has continued its humanitarian assistance and relief operations in different flood-affected areas of Chattogram and Rangamati to support people affected by the recent floods.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) release, army personnel have been distributing relief materials and providing necessary assistance among flood victims in Hathazari and Chandanaish upazilas of Chattogram.

In Rangamati district of the Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT), the Bangladesh Army distributed food items and other emergency relief supplies among local flood-affected residents.

The relief operations are being conducted under the supervision of the 10 Infantry Division as part of the Army's ongoing efforts to alleviate the sufferings of flood-hit communities, mentioned the ISPR

The Bangladesh Army would continue its humanitarian assistance activities until the overall flood situation improves, the release added.
