Gas supply to remain suspended in city’s different areas tomorrow

DHAKA, July 20, 2026 (BSS) -  Gas supply will remain suspended for 8 hours from 12 noon  tomorrow in the city’s Free School Street, Bhuter Goli, Crescent Road, Al-Amin Road and Kathalbagan areas due to the replacement of old distribution and service lines.

“The work will be carried out to replace leaking old distribution lines and service lines in the capital’s Free School Street, Hatirpool, Pukurpara and Dhanmondi areas,” said Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution in a press release today.

Consequently, gas supply to residential and commercial customers in the Free School Street, Bhuter Goli, Crescent Road, Al-Amin Road, and Kathalbagan areas will remain suspended for a total of 8 hours from 12pm to 8pm tomorrow.

Additionally, it has been informed that low gas pressure may prevail in surrounding areas, said 
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution expressing sincere regret to customers for this temporary inconvenience.
