RANGAMATI, Sept 5, 2026 (BSS) - The 296th advent day (birth anniversary) of Hindu spiritual figure Sri Sri Loknath Brahmachari is being celebrated at Loknath Brahmachari Jogashram here today with due religious fervour and festivity.

The celebrations began at the dawn with performance of devotional songs ‘Usha Kirtan” at the ashram premises.

Since dawn, a huge number of followers of Loknath Brahmachari started arriving at the shrine from different areas. 

Following the Usha kirtan, Balya Bhog was offered to Loknath Brahmachari. Later, a recitation of the holy Srimad Bhagavad Gita and a special prayer were held.

Devotees took part in the prayers seeking world peace and the welfare of all while pledging to follow the teachings and ideals of Loknath Brahmachari.

Prasad was distributed among devotees and worshippers at noon.
