ACC appoints investigator to verify assets of Ex-Army Chief Gen Aziz

DHAKA, Sept 6, 2026 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to appoint an investigator to verify and investigate the assets declared by former Army Chief General (retd) Aziz Ahmed.

Assistant Director of the ACC’s Public Relations Department Md Tanzir Ahmed confirmed the matter to BSS today.

According to the ACC, Aziz Ahmed’s address is house no-1320, road no-19, DOHS Mirpur, Pallabi, Dhaka-1216. The commission has decided to conduct verification and investigation into the wealth statement submitted by him.

Under the decision, the concerned officer has been instructed to complete the verification and investigation and submit a report accordingly.
