DHAKA, Sept 6, 2026 (BSS) - BYD Bangladesh will plant one tree for every completed test drive at its outlets across the country throughout September under its "BYD Green Drive" initiative.

The nationwide campaign, running from September 1 to 30 under the line "Drive Today, Grow Tomorrow", will count the completed test drives at the end of the campaign to determine the total number of trees to be planted, said a press release here today.

The initiative is part of BYD's environmental efforts and is aligned with its corporate mission and global vision, "Cool the Earth by 1°C".

"A test drive is often where a customer's journey with a vehicle begins. We wanted to make that first step count for something beyond the drive itself," said Chief Marketing Officer at BYD Bangladesh Imtiaz Nawsher.

He added, "With Green Drive, each journey can help create something that keeps growing, and together, those journeys can make a meaningful contribution to a greener Bangladesh."

Anyone can participate in the initiative by taking a test drive of a BYD New Energy Vehicle (NEV).
