SIRAJGANJ, Jan 17, 2025 (BSS)- To mark the Festival of Youth, Inter-upazila 
volleyball competition begun today (Friday) at Shaheed Shamsuddin Stadium 
with a slogan of "Let's change the country, change the world". 

On the opening match, Sirajganj sadar upazila defeated Shahjadpur upazila by 
2-1 sets.

Sirajganj Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nazrul Islam inaugurated the 
volleyball meet as the chief guest, implemented by the District 
Administration.
 
Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Ziaur Rahman was present as a special 
guest with Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) Ganapati Roy in the 
chair. 

Sirajganj Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Monowar Hossain, Assistant 
Commissioner Md. Fazle Rabbi, District Sports Officer Md. Noore Elahi, 
Shahzadpur Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Shahadat Hossain, Tarash 
Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Abdus Salam, Sirajganj Press Club 
President and District Sports Association Former General Secretary Md. Harun 
Or Rashid Khan Hasan, Volleyball Organiser Rashed Kabir Chandu Abdullah and 
Sports Organisers Alamin Sheikh and Hafizur Rahman were present, among 
others, in the opening ceremony.

Sirajganj sadar, Shahzadpur, Ullapara, Kajipur, Kamarkhanda, Belkuchi, 
Chauhali and Raiganj are participating in the knock out basis tournament.
