DHAKA, March 4, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) expressed deep shock and

sorrow at the death of its former president Major General (retd.) Abdur Rob.

Abdur Rob passed away on Monday last at 7.30 pm at Combined Military Hospital at Dhaka

cantonment, said a press release today.

He served as the president of the BHF from June 13, 1988 to December 26, 1990 and from August

9, 1993 to August 13, 1996.

In a message, the BHF president and all members of the committee expressed profound shock at

the death of Abdur Rob and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
