DHAKA, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS)-BFF Academy Football team U-17 registered their second successive victory in the 2nd Tianyu Liufang Cup thrashing Sri Lanka Academy Football U-17 team by 8-0 goals held in Lijiang, China, today (Monday).
In the proceeding, Tashan and Mehedi scored a brace each in the 16th and 43rd minutes and 71st and 76th minutes while they are well supported by Naeem, Roni, Hedayet and Swapan who scored a lone goal apiece for winning team in the 1st, 22nd, 39th and 52nd minutes respectively.
The BFF Academy side has been drawn in Group A alongside Sri Lanka U-17 and China's Wuhan U-17. They will play against Wuhan in their ultimate group fixture.
Earlier, on Sunday last, the BFF Academy boys showed an impressive display beating hosts Shenyang U-17 by 4-0 in their opening group-stage encounter.
