Women’s Kabaddi squad for World Cup formed

DHAKA, Nov 15, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) today announced a fourteen-member squad for the 2nd Women’s World Cup Kabaddi scheduled for November 17-24 in Dhaka.

The tournament will be held at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur. 

BKF general secretary SM Newaz Shohag announced the name of Bangladesh squad at a press conference at BKF today. 
Players of Bangladesh squad are- Sraboni Mollick, Brishty Biswas, Rupali Akter Sr. (captain), Smrity Akter, Rekha Aktari, Mebi Chakma, Rupali Akter, Anjuara Ratri, Suchorita Chakma, Khadiza Khatun, Loba Akter, Yeasmin Khanom,  Israt Jahan Sadika and Tahrim. Two standby players are - Afroza and Lumbini Chakma.

Officials of the squad are- Shahnaz Parveen Maleka and Asaduzzaman Munshi (coach), Badsha Mia (mentor), Asaduzaman Shaheen (manager), Sujit (fitness coach).
