DHAKA, April 7, 2025 (BSS) – All-rounder Nasir Hossain today resumed participation in official cricket following the successful completion of the conditions set for his return by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

He restarted competitive cricket with the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL), where he is roped in by Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club.

The 33-year-old was handed a two-year ban from all crickets in September 2023, with six months suspended, for breaching the ICC's Anti-Corruption Code.

As per the terms of the sanction, Nasir Hossain has now fulfilled all requirements, including completing the mandatory Anti-Corruption Education session.

This has paved the way for his eligibility to re-enter official cricket.

Nasir Hossain represented Bangladesh in 115 international matches across all formats between 2011 and 2018.
