NSC forms ad-hoc committee for Sylhet DSA

SYLHET, Apr 10, 2025 (BSS)-The National Sports Council (NSC) has formed a nine-member ad-hoc committee to run the Sylhet District Sports Association (DSA). 

The approval of ad hoc committee for Sylhet DSA has been given with the Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet as the convener and the district sports officer as the member secretary.

The remaining seven members of the committee include sports organizer, sports personalities, sports journalist and student representative.
The ad-hoc committee was approved in a letter signed by NSC Secretary (Joint Secretary) Md. Aminul Islam ndc on Wednesday last.

Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Sher Mahbub Murad and District Sports Officer Md. Noor Hossain have been made as the convener and the member secretary respectively of the nine-member committee.

The ad-hoc committee includes sportsperson and sports enthusiast Imran Ahmed Chowdhury, sports person and former national cricketers Rajin Saleh and Alok Kapali, sports-related individuals, former footballers and organizers Shahaz Uddin Tipu and Nazim Uddin Sahan, student representative Wahid Umair and sports journalist Abul Fazal Md. Yahhiya (Yahhiya Fazal) have been made members of the committee.
