Rahmatganj face Ctg. Abahani as BPL football resumes tomorrow

DHAKA, April 10, 2025 (BSS)-Traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society take on Chittagong Abahani Limited in one of the eleventh round matches of the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football which resumes tomorrow (Friday) after a long recess.

The match will be held at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

In the day's another match, Fakirerpool Young Men's Club meet Bangladesh Police Football Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur. 

Both the matches kick off 3.30 pm.

In the remaining eleventh round matches on the following day (Saturday), Abahani Limited, Dhaka will play against Dhaka Wanderers Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur, Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club will face Fortis Football Club at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj and holders Bashundhara Kings will take on Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital.

After the tenth round, Rahmatganj stands fourth position in the league table with 15 points while the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited places bottom of the table with three points.

Bangladesh Police Football Club stands seventh position with 13 points while Fakirerpool closely following Police with nine points.

The sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited stands second position with 23 points while Dhaka Wanderers Club places ninth position in the league table four points. 

Brothers Union Club stand fifth position in the league table with 15 points while Fortis Football Club places sixth position in the table with 14 points.

The traditional black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan dominate the league table with 27 points while Bashundhara Kings stand third position in the league table with 20 points.
