Ansar earn second win in national men's handball

DHAKA, May 21, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Ansar registered their second successive win in the 35th National Men's Handball competition beating Jamalpur District Sports Association (DSA) by 40-14 goals held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital today (Wednesday).

The winners' led the first half by 20-7 goals.

In the day's other matches also held at the same venue, Border Guard Bangladesh thrashed Madaripur DSA by 53-3 goals after dominating the first half by 23-1 goals, Jessore DSA outclassed Faridpur DSA by 33-25 goals after leading the first half by 16-9 goals, Chattogram DSA overpowered Rajshahi DSA by 31-18 goals after dominating the first half by 15-10 goals and Jamalpur DSA defeated Joypurhat DSA by 30-27 gals after leading the first half by 14-3 goals.
