Bangladesh team reaches Pakistan in two separate group for T20 series

DHAKA, May 25, 2025 (BSS)-The Bangladesh national cricket team reached
Pakistan in two separate groups for a three-match T20 International series.

Both of the groups arrived in Pakistan straight from the UAE, where
Bangladesh earlier played a three-match T20 series and lost it by 2-1.

While the first batch of the players reached in Pakistan yesterday, the
second and last batch joined the team today.

The three T20 matches are scheduled to be held on May 28, 30 and June 1.
Lahore Gaddafi Stadium will host all three matches.

According to the schedule, Bangladesh will train in Lahore on May 26 and 27
before beginning the series.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Rishad Hossain are expected to join the team's camp
after the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final. Their team Lahore Qalandars will
take on Quetta Gladiators in the final tonight (Sunday), also at the Lahore's
Gaddafi Stadium.

Mustafizur Rahman, who played his final match for the Delhi Capitals in the
Indian Premier League (IPL) yesterday (Saturday), will join the team soon.

Earlier, pacer Nahid Rana, fielding coach James Pamment and trainer Nathan
Keily withdrew from the Pakistan tour while Soumya Sarkar was ruled out of
the series due to a back injury.

Bangladesh squad: Liton Das (captain), Mahedi Hasan, Tanzid Hasan Tamim,
Parvez Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy,
Shamim Patwari, Jaker Ali Anik, Rishad Hossain, Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur
Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Shoriful Islam.
