Army emerge unbeaten champions in Jr. Services Kabaddi

DHAKA, May 31, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Army emerged as unbeaten champions in the Junior Services Kabaddi League, defeating Bangladesh Police by 41-25 points in the final held at the National Kabaddi Stadium in Paltan today (Saturday).

The winners led the first half by 23-12 points.

Mehedi of Bangladesh Army was adjudged the Player of the Match for his impressive performance in the final, while Robi of Bangladesh Police was named the Best Raider of the meet. Akash of Bangladesh Army was named the Best Catcher of the league.

Fortune Barisal Chairman Mizanur Rahman was present as the chief guest and distributed the prizes.

Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation General Secretary SM Newaz Shohag, Bangladesh Police DIG Zahidul Hasan, Army representative Captain Anika, and federation executive member Masudur Rahman Chunnu were also present at the prize distribution ceremony.

Six services teams - Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Jail, and Fire Service - split into two groups, took part in the league organized by the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation.
