DHAKA, June 1, 2025 (BSS)--Opener Parvez Hossain Emon blasted a 34 ball-66 as Bangladesh compiled a respectable 196-6 in the third and final T20 International against Pakistan at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore today.

Bangladesh are out to avoid a whitewash in three-match series after losing first two matches.

After being sent to bat first, Bangladesh got a rapid start through Emon and his fellow opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim.

They put on 110 runs in just 10.4 overs to lay a solid foundation but the middle order couldn't come all guns blazing that eventually restricted them below 200.

The partnership was broken with the dismissal of Tanzid who made 42 off 32 with three fours and as many sixes.

Emon who smashed seven fours and four sixes in his audacious knock followed Tanzid in the next over while trying to dispatch Shadab Khan with a high risk slog sweep shot.

Towhid Hridoy then made 25 and skipper Liton Das added 22 but they couldn't come up with all out attack indeed.

Hasan Ali and Abbas Afridi took two wickets apiece and curbed the aggression of Bangladeshi batters in the death overs.
