DHAKA, July 24, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced that it would donate all ticket proceeds from the third and final T20 International between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium to humanitarian efforts in the wake of recent national tragedies.

In a gesture of solidarity and remembrance, the BCB will direct the full proceeds towards two causes: the families of the victims and those affected by the recent tragic air crash at Milestone School & College in Dhaka, and the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation, which supports the families of the martyrs and the injured from the July Revolution of 2024, a BCB press release said.

"Cricket in Bangladesh is more than a sport; it's a part of our national soul. At times of grief and remembrance, we must stand together as a community," BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul said.

"The BCB is humbled to contribute in a small way to the healing process for those who have suffered so deeply in these recent tragedies. Our thoughts remain with the families and loved ones of the victims."

The BCB also extended its sincere gratitude to all fans attending today's match for their support and generosity.

Bangladesh had already clinched the three-match T20 series against Pakistan after winning the first two matches.
