CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 16, 2025 (BSS) – A man was killed and another injured in a road accident at Karbala intersection under Shibganj upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Monglu Ali, 60, son of late Kashimuddin of Mardana village in Chatrajitpur union of the upazila.

The accident took place around 8 am when a trolley collided head-on with a motorcycle, leaving trolley driver Monglu dead on the spot and injured bike rider, said 

The injured was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition. 

Officer-in-Charge of Shibganj Police Station Md. Golam Kibria confirmed the matter.
