DHAKA, July 31, 2025 (BSS)—Bangladesh A team is set to leave the country on August 7 to take part in the Top End T20 series Australia.

This will be Bangladesh’s second appearance in the tournament, considered as one of the high profile events where the big bash T20 teams and Pakistan A and Nepal National team will also participate.

The tournament is set to begin on August 14 in Darwin, the capital city of Australian state Northern Territory.

Bangladesh A were earlier slated to fly on August 9 but the change of schedule also prompted changes to the domestic preparation plans.

The members of the team have been in Chattogram for the last one month to prepare for the series and were scheduled to play three practice matches against High Performance team.

While the first match is going on today, the next two matches will be held on August 1 and 3. All matches will be played under lights in Chattogram.

The series is important to gather knowledge about the condition of Australia since the Bangladesh national team will visit Australia next year for the first time in last two decades.
