DHAKA, Aug 9, 2025 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Washu Federation (BWF) celebrated the 8th World Washu-Kungfu Day 2025 at the National Stadium premises today (Saturday), said a BWF press release.
The theme for this year's World Kungfu-Day was "Celebrate Taiji Together".
A total of 130 athletes participated in the rally started at National Stadium gate no 3 and terminated at the same venue after circling the stadium.
The rally was led by BWF vice president Lt. Col Abu Ayub Mohammad Hasan (retd.) its founder general secretary Shufu Dildar Hasan Dilu, chairman of the technical committee SM Shahidul Haque Bhuiyan, treasurer Habubur Rahman Siddiqui and executive members Mohammad Saiful Alam Roman.
Meanwhile, the BWF also instructed all the clubs, organizations of the federation across the districts and divisions to organize rallies and other programs to celebrate the Washu-Kungfu Day.
