U-20 booters hold 1st day's training session

DHAKA, Jan 31, 2026 (BSS) - The first day's training session of the Bangladesh 
under-20 national football team was held today (Saturday) at the Shams-Ul-
Huda Football Academy in Jashore for the upcoming SAFF U-20 Championship.

The residential training camp initially started with 15 footballers.

The footballers called up from Bashundhara Kings and PWD Sports Club are 
expected to join in the camp by tonight.

In addition, other players included in the squad and expatriate footballers 
step by step will also join the camp.

The SAFF U-20 Championship is scheduled to be held from March 23 to April 3 
in the Maldives with the participation of Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, host 
Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and India.

Earlier on Thursday last, the Bangladesh Football Federation initially picked 
up 32 footballers for the camp.
