BSCIC holds entrepreneurship development training in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Jan 30, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) on Thursday concluded a five-day Industrial Entrepreneurship Development Training Course at the BSCIC District Office in Rajshahi.

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Afia Akhter attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. Abdur Razzak, Deputy Manager of the BSCIC District Office in Rajshahi, spoke as a special guest, while Deputy General Manager Rafikul Islam presided over the event.

Addressing the programme, Afia Akhter underscored the role of entrepreneurship development in generating employment, strengthening local industries and ensuring sustainable economic growth. She also lauded BSCIC for its effective initiatives to enhance skills and foster innovation among emerging entrepreneurs.

BSCIC Industrial Estate Officer Anwarul Azim conducted the programme, while Extension Officer Fahim Faisal also addressed the participants.

A total of 26 entrepreneurs took part in the training course and successfully completed the programme.
