Two matches of Federation Cup to be held tomorrow

DHAKA, Feb 2, 2026 (BSS)- After nearly one and half month recess, the 
Federation Cup football resumes tomorrow (Tuesday) with two matches will be 
held at two separate venues across the country.

On the day's group A matches, Brothers Union Club take on PWD Sports Club at 
Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital while Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends 
Society face Abahani Limited, Dhaka at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in 
Cumilla.
 
Both the matches kick off at 2.45 pm.
 
The all orange Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club stands top of the table 
from group A with four points from two matches while PWD following them 
closely with three points playing one match.

On the other hand, the sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited stand third 
in the table with three points from two matches while the traditional old 
Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj have collected one point playing one match. 

Earlier, Brothers Union Club played goalless with Rahmatganj in their group 
opening match and beat Abahani Limited by 1-0 goal in their second match. PWD 
beat Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 2-0 goals in their lone opening group 
match.

Abahani Limited beat Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 4-2 in their opening 
group match but they lost to Brothers Union Club by 1-0 goal. Rahmatganj 
played out a goalless tie with Brothers Union Club in their opening group 
match.
