DHAKA, March 13, 2026 (BSS)- Brahmanbaria and Moulvibazar district teams 
reached the Surma zone final of the U-17 National Championship eliminating 
their respective rivals in the semifinals at Divisional Krira Complex in 
Sylhet today (Friday).

The final of the Surma Zone will be held on Sunday (March 15) at the same 
venue at 2 pm.

In the day's first semifinal, Brahmanbaria district team beat host Sylhet 
district team by 1-0 goal in the first semifinal with Sahib Chowdhury scored 
the all-important goal for the winners' in the 10th minute.

In the second semifinal, Moulvibazar district team defeated Habiganj district 
team also by the same identical margin of 1-0 goal.

Jihad Ahmed scored the all-important goal for Moulvibazar in the 75th minute 
of the match.
