DHAKA, Apr 15, 2026 (BSS)- State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque inaugurated the workshop titled "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Based Training Youth Development-2026" at the Youth Development Academy in Savar today (Wednesday).
Youth and Sports Secretary Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam, Director General of the Department of Youth Development Dr. Gazi Md. Saifuzzaman and Principal of the Youth Development Academy Selim Khan were present at the time.
Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion the State Minister said: "In the current world, we are moving through the fourth industrial revolution. Artificial intelligence or AI is now the main driving force of technological change. AI is creating new possibilities in every field - education, agriculture, health and industry."
Through AI-based training, we can create personalized learning opportunities for each student, increase the quality of training and connect skills with employment, he said.
Aminul said AI-based training is already being successfully implemented in various countries around the world and we want Bangladesh to follow in that trend.
We need to ensure that AI is inclusive. Women and marginalized communities are not deprived of its benefits, and that transparency and accountability are ensured in the use of AI.
The State Minister said those who would receive training would spread these teachings among everyone at the grassroots level. Many unethical acts are being organized through AI, so its proper use must be ensured.
