Free medical camp for underprivileged patients held in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, April 17, 2026 (BSS) - Around 100 underprivileged and helpless 
patients received free medical services in Kolakhali union under Sadar 
upazila of the district today.
 
The day-long medical camp was organized by 'We Rise Rural Development 
Foundation' at its head office in Kolakhali union.
 
During the programme, all patients were provided free medical consultation, 
essential medicines and blood group testing.
 
Central Swechchhasebak Dal Agriculture Affairs Secretary Md Alaulddin Khan 
attended the event as the chief guest.
 
Kolakhali Union Parishad Chairman Hedayetul Islam Mister presided over the 
programme.
 
Medical services were provided by Dr Md Arif Hasan, Medical Officer of 
Pirojpur Civil Surgeon Office while representatives of New Sandhani 
Diagnostic Centre conducted blood group testing.
 
'We Rise Rural Development Foundation' volunteers said the initiative was 
driven by humanitarian responsibility. 

They added that they plan to expand such activities in future to support more 
underprivileged people.
