DHAKA, Sept 8, 2026 (BSS) —The new official jersey of the Bangladesh national football team has been formally unveiled today (Tuesday) at the National Sports Council auditorium in the capital.
The new jersey will be available at 130 Uniformity stores across the country. It will also be sold at a dedicated DOUR showroom in Banani, Dhaka, as well as in the European market.
Through its partnership with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), DOUR has taken initiatives to promote the national team's jersey internationally. The Bangladesh jersey has been displayed at the FIFA Museum, currently selling at retail market in Singapore and is available in the European market through Classic Football Shirts.
According to the agreement, DOUR was required to supply 400 sets of jerseys per team annually, totaling 2,400 sets for six teams. However, in 2025, DOUR supplied the BFF with more than 16,350 jerseys, tracksuits, polo shirts and other sports equipment.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Tabith Awal and DOUR managing director and CEO Abid Alam Chowdhury attended the unveiling ceremony. BFF vice presidents, executive committee members and NSC officials were also present there.
Speaking on the occasion, State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque said the international recognition of Bangladesh's national team jersey is a matter of great joy and pride.
“When we played football, we never thought much about jersey launches or branding. Officials made jerseys locally, and we simply wore them and went onto the field. Today, that Bangladesh jersey has gained recognition around the world. This is a matter of great joy and pride for us,” he said.
He welcomed the initiative to take Bangladesh's national team jersey to the international market and said the government was giving the highest priority to sports.
BFF President Tabith Awal described the new jersey as another achievement for Bangladesh football.
He also highlighted Bangladesh's large population and growing international interest in the country, saying more countries are now interested in playing against Bangladesh while ticket sales and hospitality are also increasing.
