NSC hands over two stadiums to BFF

DHAKA, Sept 8, 2026 (BSS) - The National Sports Council (NSC) today officially handed over Sylhet District Stadium and Birsreshtha Shaheed Sepoy 
Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).

The two stadiums were handed over to the BFF at a ceremony held at the NSC auditorium today (Tuesday).

The handover includes the playing fields, spectator galleries and stands, pavilion buildings, dressing rooms, media centers, entrances, canteens, 
toilets, drainage facilities, administrative buildings, excluding the usable area of the first party, dormitories and floodlights.

The BFF expressed its sincere gratitude to the NSC and all concerned for their cooperation in handing over the two stadiums for the development of the 
country's football infrastructure.

The handover agreement was signed on behalf of the NSC by its Director (Sports) Mohammad Zahed Parvez Chowdhury, while BFF General Secretary Imran 
Hossain Tushar signed on behalf of the BFF.
